What's this all about?

Humanly speaking, I shouldn't be alive. I battled anxiety and depression for years when my daughter, Kristina, was diagnosed with cancer. She died on June 21, 2014, at the age of 12. Yet, my anxiety and depression are now gone! I'm climbing mountains, jumping out of planes, and enjoying helping others overcome fear, shame, and guilt to persevere. 

Currently, I get to serve as Groups Pastor at Fellowship at Plum Creek in Kyle, TX. 

Seated here is my family from left to right: Duke the Dog, Chad, Melissa, Jonathan, Caroline, and Katherine (Kristina is lavishing in the presence of Jesus!). We live near Austin, Texas where the humidity is low, the mosquitoes are rare, and the hills are alive with the sound of... well, SXSW.
